We at Swift River Valley Historical Society have noticed how many of you are enjoying hiking, fishing, bird-watching, and the many beautiful resources that the Quabbin offers. SRVHS always welcomes people who appreciate the Quabbin and all it brings to the region. Although of primary importance, we do not just hold the records and memories of the four lost towns of Greenwich, Dana, Enfield and Prescott. SRVHS has a voice in how the watershed is managed and in how the Commonwealth manages the water supply. In addition to museum tours, we also present programs for children and adults as well as hikes into the Quabbin. We are looking for new Friends! Be a part of local history – come and join us! Friendship forms are available on our website https://swiftrivermuseum.org, by calling our office at 978-544-6882 or emailing your request to swiftrivermuseum@gmail.com
FRIENDSHIP with the Swift River Historical Society is open to all. Renewal is in June. Your donations will help us tell this story far and wide, thus making the Swift River Valley story accessible to a wider, more diverse audience.
THE NEXT 86
2024 will see the 86th anniversary of the disincorporation of the four towns. As we look toward the future, if you are in a position to contribute more, please consider giving at the Associate, Sustaining, Patron, Sponsor or Leadership levels. Any amount, large or small, will help assure our stewardship for the next 86 years. Thank you!
