Help Support the Swift River Valley Historical Society

We at Swift River Valley Historical Society have noticed how many of you are enjoying hiking, fishing, bird-watching, and the many beautiful resources that the Quabbin offers. SRVHS always welcomes people who appreciate the Quabbin and all it brings to the region.

2026 will see the 88th anniversary of the disincorporation of the four towns. Although of primary importance, we do not just hold the records and memories of the four lost towns of Greenwich, Dana, Enfield and Prescott. SRVHS has a voice in how the watershed is managed and in how the Commonwealth manages the water supply. In addition to museum tours, we also present programs for children and adults as well as hikes into the Quabbin.
